Join Craft Well for a two day Chainsaw Safety, Use and Maintenance workshop at the BDFC land base.
The Craft Well Chainsaw Safety, Use and Maintenance training program will provide hands on training in how to safely use and maintain chainsaws. As residents of the eastern and southern woodlands, knowing how to properly and safely use and maintain a chainsaw is critical. Whether it is for general land maintenance and clearing or to post disaster response, chainsaw work is essential to the general tool-box of skills required to competently survive and thrive in a wooded environment.
Intended Audience: The Craft Well Chainsaw Safety, Use and Maintenance training program is intended for peri-urban and rural agricultural workers, farmers and farm managers, land-owners and others in the agricultural sector, agrarian activists and organizers, and general community members who live in wood environments.
